  Admission in MBA (Master of Business Administration)  
  General:  
  The information and rules given hereby are applicable for admission to the First year of Two Year full time Post Graduate Degree Programme MBA of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University conducted at Institute of Management Kolhapur. The total sanctioned intake of MBA Programme is 60 seats
 
  The seats will be filled on merit based on their performance in B-MAT Test and GDPI conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University at the designated centers.
 
  One seat over and above the sanctioned intake in the Programme will be reserved for sons and daughters of migrants from Jammu & Kashmir valley and Defence and Civil Service personnel engagedmin fighting against terrorists activities in Jammu & Kashmir valley (Refer D.O.No.F.10-1/2003-Desk(U)dated 5-12-2003).The candidates to be admitted against these seats must have appeared at B-MAT Test conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune.
 
  15% of the seats are reserved for Management Category. Candidates desirous of seeking admission though management category will have to appear for the B-MAT Test and they should separately apply to the Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune on prescribed from available in the University Office

  Eligibility  
  A graduate with bachelor or Master Degree from any discipline who has passed with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST Candidates) from a recognized University.  
  The candidate in the final year Degree (Bachelors or Masters) are also eligible to apply provided they complete their graduation requirements including practical examination, viva, assignments on or before the day of admissions to the institute of their choice. However such candidates will have to produce marks statement of the qualifying examination at the time of counseling. Under no circumstances will an extension of deadline be made. The admission of student, will however, remain provisional until they produce the others candidates on or before Aug. 25th ,2006 failing which the admission would automatically stands cancelled.
The candidate should be Indian National.

  Basis of selection for Admission  
 
A candidate desirous of seeking admission to MBA programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition as laid in above.
He/She must have appeared for the B-MAT Test conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune.
The candidates shall be selected for admission on the basis of their ranks in the selection list (prepared on the basis of the marks scored at B-MAT Test) and the
  availability of the seats for the programme at the time of counselling and admission.
In case of candidates securing equal marks, their relative rank will be determined on the basis of the following order of preference.....
In case of candidates scoring equal number of marks in B-MAT, the candidates will be ranked according to the percentage of marks scored in aggregate at the H
  SC or its equivalent examination.
If equal, the candidates will be ranked according to their percentage of marks scored in aggregate at SSC or its equivalent examination.
If equal, their relative rank will be determined on the basis of computerized random numbering.
